Overall Satisfaction with MindManager

MindManager is being used by key personnel in a lab group to keep track of the status of several ongoing research experiments. It allowed us to access relevant data and keep tabs on the progress.

  • is great for creating flow charts to visualize organizational flow.
  • MindManager helps me keep my tasks organized and keep track of the status of certain projects.
  • A great feature is that MindManager allows attachments of files on my computer to specific task points, making it easier to find relevant data for a project.
  • MindManager is not very user-friendly and can be difficult to learn how to utilize the entire program.
  • The interface appears outdated compared to other mind mapping programs out there.
  • MindManager is still a little pricey for what it is.
  • MindManager has improved accessibility of information.
  • MindManager has improved collaboration within my group with it's sharing abilities.
  • MindManager has improved my project management.
At one point, I was juggling nine different projects and supervising training and other projects for twelve other personnel. MindManager allowed me to keep track of the status of my personnel's training and projects, as well as the status of my own projects. I was able to visually organize everything onto my map. My favorite feature was the ability to attach files from my computer to specific tasks on my map, making these files easily accessible.
I selected MindManager based off the recommendation of a coworker. I had used a free template that only allowed for the creation on a flow chart. However, that free template did not allow me to do the things that MindManager did. MindManager allowed me to work on my tasks directly from the program with its ability to attach files from my computer to the tasks themselves.
