I’m not sure
I did not know it was able to do that. I’ll take a look again.
For my day-to-day need, I use Xmind. Simpler, cheaper.

My recommendation will be based on the purpose. For general use, some free, open source or simple mindmap many tools are already available. For the export format in office documents, I think it was good.

Evaluating MindManager and Competitors

Yes - At first, I used MindManager to replace Visio which was pretty expensive and less easy to use.

Export and import possibilities. I realized what I was really looking for was a too to manage knowledge and graphically present it and its links.

I don’t think it is complicated… except if you use the other format available, like the process mapping. I find it more intuitive to use Visio.
