The search function is very useful when dealing with large plans.

Importing information from Excel/word is complex and time consuming.
The teams add in should not cost extra.
The share function for others without a licence is slow and frustrating.

Return on Investment

They reduced duplicate activities when working within Outlook's task and due date functions, as these are mirrored in Mind Manager.

Information Visualization Benefits

Turn Excel data into visual maps that show information in a way that can be understood easily. This allows ideas to be developed easily and information to be imported without duplicating tasks. Exporting information into other formats reduces the time needed to be spent on editing, as the formatting functions allow for better organization of information.

Xmind, MindMapper, Ayoa and Miro

MindManager has many functions that others don't allow. Users can also use it offline rather than relying on an internal connection. It works with many standard business software programs that other products do not. This makes it very applicable for the workplace, as it helps with uptake.

Suppose people are already used to planning and different ways of breaking down or organizing information. If they will use it entirely independently or when the tool is used team/company-wide. When the company uses MS products rather than other web-based tools, It is not so good when workers do not understand planning processes and are not confident with new software programs. Using the program with clients who do not have the program is difficult - the webshare app is very slow, and my clients have struggled to log on or access the plans. I have stopped using it because I cannot rely on the program. Your company has not bought the upgrade where you work on teams.
