I have been using MindManager (Mindjet) for many years, using the map concept (paper/poster version) to present various art projects and installations. From concept to timeline to visual explanation and planning, it always gets individuals to look at and ask questions. It is invaluable.

Saving as PDFs for people or company who do not use the interactive part.

Basic mapping technique for untrained individual like me.

Easier use for onetime map font/shapes/color setting.
Constant saving even if internet connection is slow.
Automatic font size adjustment for 8x10' pdf readability.
Copyright icon easily available within fonts?

Return on Investment

For a single person business presentation it is a plus.
Project difficulty is well assessed using the map.
Giving away a paper version of a map is a positive gesture. People like the map, the look, and what it says, and it may also be a way to promote MindManager to them.
Keep the PDF or JPEG saving capabilities for small customers like me. It's important.

Information Visualization Benefits

I have used project maps for many years. The projects were mainly for public art installations or monumental sculpture installations in cities and other public spaces. The MindManager mapping helped me in the planning and the presentation itself to the stakeholders or other officials. I did leave a printed version for the map presentation itself each time. It impresses people who do not know of MindManager. Humans need visuals, we know that, but a project map on a poster works well. It stays with them. I always get a compliment or an inquiry from the map.

When I know I have to present an art installation or public art project to interested parties, I always bring a poster-size MindManager map and a few 8x10 or A4 format sheets. This always shows the interlocutor the work and knowledge involved in the project itself. The images tell the story, and the hyperlinks are helpful even in a non-interactive map. Curious people do like maps!

Need a faster, easier way to change fonts and color schemes using the background and lines separate spaces. With a slow speed internet I have difficulties implementg my choices.
