Overall Satisfaction with Miro

  1. Used between India and London to collaborate and share UI artwork.
  2. Used between the UI and UX discipline.
  3. Addresses issue of not being able to share assets for review immediately.
  4. Helps create expansive mood boards.
  5. Helps with instant feedback and collaboration.
  • Easy feedback.
  • Easy sharing structure.
  • Simple and intuitive UI for any user.
  • Addresses issues that cannot be sought through an email.
  • The notification system could be a little better.
  • Perhaps a file repository to make the exchange of assets- files easier?
  • Updates take a while and we miss out on a few things every now and then.
  • Excel Sheet-esque dating and tabulated structures could help in planning sprints and timelines.
  • Faster feedback loops.
  • Better iterative process saving time spent on sending emails.
  • Time saved in waiting on feedback through @ feature which marks the people we want.
A few things like more complicated features e.g. excel setups- table setups (if possible) can be classified into Miro workspaces of sorts e.g.Miro essentials, Miro artist, Miro producer based on wider use demographics as per your collected data would be a nice touch.
Not everyone is comfortable using the Miro setup. Initial board setup can be daunting for some. Many producers who work with us are used to Excel Sheet formats which have features that might be a few levels below in. Miro Production pipelines need to spend a little time getting the team used to Miro so some might be onboard- some not which is the case with our team.
Collaborating has become easier. Sharing mood boards is seamless and easy to achieve. Getting feedback without worrying about the time in our collaboration team's country is a great plus. We've saved time by waiting on weekly review meetings and inculcating feedback from those meetings.

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

  1. Miro feels easier on the eyes as well as with the information presented to the user.
  2. The interface isn't daunting and is easy to use.
Excellent for sharing work immediately. Great for showcasing work and going over iterations and comments immediately. Image load times take a while sometimes, but it's not super detrimental. Ability to upload and download high-quality stuff is great. Comments + @ feature helps tag people and makes the process really smooth. We've actively used Miro to showcase mood boards and ideas for the whole team.
