Overall Satisfaction with Miro

Miro is used to structure and run studio-based tutorials for higher education within the Design field of study. Miro is useful for creating engagement and a collaborative atmosphere for online classes where it is difficult to create a sense of belonging and community. The Miro board system allows for students to collaborate and share work and insights with their peers.
  • Real-time collaboration.
  • Flexible, easy to use tool bar.
  • The ability to zoom out to overview the overall shape of the project.
  • Stability of the platform.
  • The structure of teams and collaborators can be confusing and difficult to understand at the start. It's not an intuitive or easy-to-understand system for setting up collaboration.
  • Allowing education accounts to open multiple projects.
  • Improved connectivity when collaborating online.
  • Streamlined the note-taking process for students.
It works well and is an adaptable platform.
It's very useful for both remote learning and within the physical classroom. It also allows for teaching teams to collaborate and share outcomes of classwork.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

My only experience is for using Miro in a tutorial context and it is very well suited for this. Limitations within this context are related to stability and availability of internet connections because the boards can quickly and easily become difficult to load if there is a range of media uploaded.
