Overall Satisfaction with Miro

Miro has been a fantastic tool to collaborate since the company went remote. We actually found it easier to conduct planning days and workshops since we didn't have to convert the physical post-it notes into digital. We can also get more people in those sessions as we are no longer limited by physical space.
  • Can get everyone to collaborate at the same time.
  • Ability to link boards to show user flows.
  • Bring people to where you're presenting.
  • It tends to get a bit slow when there are a lot of people on it.
  • We had issues with access before especially with single sign on.
  • Stamps and stickers would be helpful and fun.
  • Miro has enabled wider teams to collaborate.
  • User engagement has increased as seen in the workshop's output.
  • It made it so much easier to share meeting notes and workshop findings.
It's really good when a small team is collaborating. Not so good when a whole department is on there. It tends to lag a bit. Also, breakout rooms would have been handy since the start.
Sometimes there are issues with the SSO implementation but it could be more a company thing rather than Miro.
We have definitely noticed an increase in engagement from the wider business. When everyone was working remotely during the pandemic, without Miro, it would have been almost impossible to get everyone to collaborate in planning days especially. We have these massive planning days where whole departments come together to plan the next 5 sprints.

  • MURAL (formerly Mural.ly)
I wasn't part of the team that evaluated the products.
We use it for anything user research and it's fantastic to be able to just move past it and undo it. It's also an excellent tool to visualise user flows with the inbuilt elements. It's easier than printing and sticking on the wall.
