Overall Satisfaction with Miro

In our organization, Miro is used as a reference for when you need a whiteboard where you can all work together at the same time, especially when it comes to Agile work. We use it to create discussion boards and opinion gathering as well as for the organization of tasks at the beginning of a project. In those moments, the speed of modification and collaboration is essential to save time and at the same time maintain order.
  • Allows simultaneous collaboration.
  • Easy to learn.
  • Keeps a history of ideas.
  • I happened to change the entire structure by mistake.
  • The time to live of shared links
  • I find it difficult to manage large whiteboards.
  • Facilitates remote collaboration.
  • Maintains a history of written ideas.
  • Saves time in sharing ideas.
Miro is sometimes slow when using imported images or if it is necessary to create a more complex infrastructure it becomes complicated to maintain order, especially when using many people as it is easy for the elements to be moved by mistake. It would therefore be useful to be able to anchor elements in a position or prevent some users from being able to interact with them, all quickly and without wasting time in complex security policies.
We found in Miro a convenient tool that easily adapted to our Agile working methods, integrating with our routine and with our communication, collaboration, and organizational needs. Furthermore, it was easy for us to use it in conjunction with Slack and Microsoft Teams for the collaboration between the various teams. I also personally use Miro with Notion for personal organization.
With the arrival of the pandemic and the complete instantaneous change in the working methods it entailed, Miro was a useful tool to introduce into our work habits. Its ease of use allowed all collaborators to immediately participate in the new working method. And in a certain way, to fill the lack of the feeling of collaboration that one had between colleagues in the office.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

I recommend Miro when your group is not so large and you need a whiteboard where you can easily collaborate, especially during meetings where many people have to say their opinion or list points or tasks. I would not recommend it if the working group is too large and you need large and simultaneous processing as the chaos that could be created would lead to a misunderstanding of the scenario.
