We use it to collaborate on team projects. It is easy to use especially during remote sessions since we can put brainstorm ideas together.

It is more agile and allows more people to collaborate easily.
It is good to use when a group of people need to work on a project. It allows people to put up thoughts on the same piece of the board while simultaneously looking at what others have written. Features like sticky notes give excellent flexibility to move things around for formatting.
