Overall Satisfaction with Miro
We use it to collaborate in bigger groups virtually, for example on code retreats. Our virtual code retreats are across multiple units. The internal team uses it for our retros, which works out pretty well. Now it is the go-to tool for all virtual sessions where some scratching our planning is done.
Pros
- The sticky notes.
- Everybody can work in a very small space of the board without any issues or conflicts.
- Building up a board is blazing fast.
Cons
- During code retreats, we need to switch to draw.io for playing around with DB schemas or classes because it's way more complicated on Miro.
- The zooming tool is often a little strange and needs the most experience to be smooth.
- Sped up the process of the retros.
- Made it easy to host a virtual code retreat with over 50 people.
- Helps collaborate over huge distances like we would stand at the same whiteboard.
Very good. Scratching some ideas remote has become way smoother, and organizing teams over distances is easier.
Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?
Yes
Are you happy with Miro's feature set?
Yes
Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?
I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process
Did implementation of Miro go as expected?
I wasn't involved with the implementation phase
Would you buy Miro again?
Yes
Miro is the most complete one. All the features the other three have, so does Miro. Just draw.io is a more technical drawing tool, which helps to get something very quickly. But all the things that are possible on draw.io (as far as I know) are also possible on Miro, just Miro is overall the better solution.
