Overall Satisfaction with Miro

Miro is being used as a very powerful application to design diagrams and illustrations for student theses and course assignments. It is also, very useful during brainstorming to come up with new ideas. Furthermore, I found Miro helpful when I am planning for a new project, especially when we are working as a team remotely and want to instantly share our ideas on the board. All in all, Miro is an application that I use daily and it is playing a significant role in my project preparation.

Pros

  • Illustration.
  • Idea generating.
  • Organizing.
  • Collaboration.

Cons

  • Auto complete.
  • Item selection.
  • Animations.
  • Improved illustration.
  • Improved productivity.
  • Efficiency.
I think the design is very easy to use and satisfying. I would suggest adding more shortcuts to the common items, or even custom shortcuts.
I think Miro is making it easy to collaborate, illustrate, and share ideas.
I used it during the classes I taught as a TA. Additionally, I saw that some professors use it as a whiteboard during their classes. It is working really well.

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Miro has more functionality, better design, and a variety of pre-built diagrams that make my life easier.
Miro is very useful when illustrating state diagrams, entity diagrams in CS, mind maps, brainstorming, and planning. It is a powerful application when designing prototypes for new web apps since it has beautiful, pre-made icons. Working with it is pretty easy when it comes to connecting the items to each other and showing the relationships between items.
