Overall Satisfaction with Miro

The whole organization is using it, however, some areas are using it more than others. Business problems that Miro addresses are remote whiteboarding primarily, as well as User Story Mapping, Value Stream Mapping, etc.
  • Diagramming.
  • Collaboration.
  • Built-in Templates.
  • Add a shape for "Decision" (diamond) so Visio-like diagramming can be done in Miro. The arrows/lines coming out of this shape should default to "Yes" and "No" values.
  • Make the frame snap to/group the objects inside when the objects are already there and the frame is added after the fact. Currently, when the frame is added after the shapes are already there, the frame and shapes seem to have no relation to each other.
  • Ask/prompt to re-order (sequence) the frames, when multiple frames are added inside a larger frame. This can help with getting set up right for the Presentation mode.
  • Helped in creating shared understanding, and thus helped us solve the right problem/build the right solution.
  • Reduced time needed to align on issues.
  • Improved team collaboration.
Implementation of Azure Cards (to integrate with Azure DevOps) can be improved further. The current solution is still rudimentary, but much better than the initial solution that was rolled out.
Answered this one in the previous comment/question.
Miro has helped tremendously for our team to collaborate across the globe. Without an online tool like Miro, we would have to pass documents/diagrams back and forth or have video conferences where perhaps one person would capture the details/diagrams. Miro was essential for us to keep making progress every day.

Feature set and pricing was better for Miro.
Miro is serving quite well in the current COVID situation where people are working remotely, but usage may drop when people go back to the office again. Adding some incentives where it can replace PowerPoint, Visio, etc. will ensure that people are continuing to use Miro online and offline to prepare for meetings, etc.
