Miro Miro on the Wall which is the best brainstorming software of them all
Overall Satisfaction with Miro
Miro is being used across the whole organization. We use it for team-building meetings. Brainstorming and creating process maps to improve our business. We have also used it to do things like Map our donor journeys and determine how we can best connect with our supporters. We use it on almost a weekly basis if not daily depending on who is using it. At the moment we have a few core users who set up boards that are then shared with our team or board of directors as needed.
Pros
- Brainstorming for disbursed teams.
- Variety of templates we can use as inspiration.
- Ability to have staff work on it when they want instead of in-person whiteboards.
- Use of text, tools, and colours. Love the shape options, resizing, and using post-it notes.
Cons
- Make it easier to add free-form textboxes or just add text anywhere.
- Clearer instructions to move people to where you might be on the board.
- Would love more integrations.
- Great return on investment.
- Improved how we work as a team through process mapping.
- Improved how we make decisions as a team.
- Seen donor/customer growth because we were able to use it to better map out our customer journey and experience.
It has greatly helped us collaborate as a team especially since we now all work remotely. We have used Miro at essentially all of our quarterly team meetings to plan for the next quarter.
We have also used it to brainstorm on process improvements and our customer journey which has helped us to grow revenues and our customer base. We have found it invaluable for solving some of our internal process problems creating efficiencies and improvements so staff can focus time and energy on more important tasks.

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase
Would you buy Miro again?
Yes
As a non-profit, we use Google for everything we do (Drive, Email). When we first started collaborating as a team we used Jamboard. We didn't like the features, look or feel of it. Miro has made it much easier to conceptualize what we want to do and where we want to go.
