Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We use MIRO extensively in a number of circumstances including:
- Brainstorming sessions with our clients.
- MIRO is used to create mind-maps which then can be easily shared across the team.
- Website maps development - collaborative teamwork of creating the top-level structure of a new website. MIRO doc is then used to brief UI and UX designers.
- Project flow and schemes development.
- MIRO has great graphic functionality to draw models and schemes.

Pros

  • Mindmaps.
  • Templates for CJM, Service Blueprint, etc.
  • Business process modeling.

Cons

  • More organised and easy to create mind maps (reference here is XMind).
• Confusing settings for whiteboards (who is the owner, sharing options, etc).
  • Allowed to work collaboratively from remote locations.
  • Improved image of the business as we shared it as a best-case example with the partners.
Straight forward and intuitively easy to use. Might be confusing with editing as there are too many options available so not everything looks perfect and nice without editing.
Work okay with Notion.
It empowered collaborative work. Would have been an issue to collaborate without Miro.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Miro is great because it offers free functionality which is great for small projects and teams. Also great for collaborative work. Also allows to customise literally all elements.
Well suited for:
- Mind mapping.
- Collaborative work on various tasks - eg taking notes, making links among ideas, affinity diagrams, etc.
Less appropriate for:
- Creating a structured document (like Notion).
