Overall Satisfaction with Miro

Currently, we use it in four ways thanks to the collaboration possibilities: in multi-stakeholder projects so Miro helps us to discover insights between the different partners and in education as a “collaborative blackboard”. In both cases, we prepare background templates. It requires a previous preparation of the goal of the meeting. That’s it is the third use to MIRO board. For the template preparation, we use the tables, description text for the activities, arrows, docs, and graphics. All the need stuff to give the information about the topic in discussion. We share and visualize the board with the attendants by means of Zoom or Teams. After the meeting or classroom, we include a wrap-up box with comments. We keep the Miro Board open so people can see the results whatever. The fourth use is to mindmap technical topics to prepare discussions with our partners. It helps us to clarify ideas and detect the importance of some characteristics or elements in the problem. We find Miro extremely useful for collaboration but it needs better performances to extract information in tables as XLS or CSV or text to export to documents and also possibilities to doddle.
  • Mind maps.
  • Collaboration with a high number of participants.
  • Post it comments.
  • Extract Xls or CSV from tables.
  • Extract text for reporting.
  • Doodle.
  • To keep the board all over the time helps to track meeting and the evolution.
  • Improve the quality of online meetings.
  • Difficulties to extract reporting.
I think that I have previously
mentioned. After a meeting we have to report a prepare the minutes, a lot of
information is on the board and we need to re-write in most of the cases (or
crtl+C). Maybe there is some app to help us in this action but we don’t know.
We use Zoom or Teams and it is so easy to share; Teams also includes an app that helps in the room. We don't have problems with the integration.
We use it to work on European
projects, so we always have a lot of colleagues that are far away. Miro lets us have a board to increase the productivity of our meetings and tracks, even we
can stop; fill the board, and continue with the discussion and review what has been added during the
pause.

  • MURAL (formerly Mural.ly)
Similar to Miro but I haven't worked intensely with it as Miro; my organization decided to use Miro and I didn't participate in that decision.
Great: collaboration with stakeholders in online meetings, plan actions in online meetings, basically in online meetings that requires a blackboard to write concepts, and it helps to discuss with the team. Mind mapping of problems, templates are also useful as starting points to create your own templates. Low: reporting, working with no-Miro users (Miro requires a little training).
