Overall Satisfaction with Miro

Here at our organization, we use Miro in several areas within the technology group, one for whiteboarding including remote participants' technology architecture design work. Two, to collaborate in brainstorming sessions. And three, for soliciting freeform feedback in training sessions with remote participants. It enables easy collaboration with folks that are not physically located in the same space.
  • Digital Whiteboard.
  • Brainstorming and organizing ideas.
  • Soliciting feedback.
  • Saving board information at various points in time.
  • Downloading board information.
  • User maintenance and board invites.
  • We only use Miro in a limited fashion so it is small overall positive impact.
  • It makes some forms of collaborating easier with remote participants.
No real implementation to speak of as Miro is a SAAS product that is generally accessible.
There are not really any integrations to speak of technically for Miro. The possible integration that could be looked at, in the ways that we have used it, is how boards can be downloaded or screenshots are taken. Here the capabilities are lacking for the general (non-paid) user to the point where Windows-Shift-S screencaps are a much higher resolution which to me, does not make sense as the user has an easy workaround, but until the user actually tries to do a download and realizes the resolution is limited for the non paid users.
It has been a positive impact on collaborating or whiteboarding for those teams that have used Miro to date. It is very effective when some team members are remote and working to share ideas with folks in the office. It also is easy to use and learn basic functions.

Microsoft 365 (formerly Office 365), SAP ERP, Microsoft Visio
In our experience, it is a very good tool for whiteboarding ideas within a small to medium-sized team where various team members are participating from different locations. In this area, the tool excels in facilitating ideas and collaboration. The tool is also relatively easy to use. It becomes a bit more difficult to use when the desire is to save the state of the board at various intervals.
