Great for Mind Mapping!
Overall Satisfaction with Miro
Miro is excellent for virtual technical collaboration with project design teams. The Mind Map feature is particularly useful for visually laying out the interconnected logic chains between challenges, and the problems contributing to those challenges. Once these logic chains and the connections between them are mapped out, the Mind Map is a helpful visual for identifying priority problems to address that are within the scope of the project and the expertise of the implementation team. The team can then map out the proposed interventions for addressing those priority problems, and the anticipated results.
Pros
- Mind Maps.
- SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Challenges) analysis.
- Flow charts (e.g., organograms, results frameworks).
Cons
- Sticky notes that you can attach/group with sections of a Mind Map.
- Edit history (especially for retrieving things that someone else deleted accidentally).
- Miro significantly speeds up the program design process.
Using Miro, we are able to work collaboratively with program design teams that are in different countries and time zones. When people contribute to a Miro board on their own, those updates are highlighted for others to see the next time they sign in. It's a great tool for working together synchronously and asynchronously.
