Miro is a Scrum Master's best friend
Overall Satisfaction with Miro
I use Miro to host retrospectives for my agile scrum team after releases. It helps address any gaps we may have in our development process through a fun and engaging activity. Both our business and development users attend these meetings and fill out sticky notes for the retrospective and the models that Miro offers are great.
Pros
- Templates for meetings.
- Available resources to learn more about using the tool.
- Intuitive design, easy to figure out.
Cons
- It can be tricky to see a gallery of templates not created by Miro.
- Anonymity can be difficult sometimes.
- Make it easier to lock things down on the page right away.
- Improved communication.
- Reduction in turn around times for processes.
- Better organization.
I already stated that my team is located throughout the US and Europe so we all work remotely. It's been particularly helpful since the pandemic started. I've had sessions in Miro with users in California, Boston, Ukraine, and India simultaneously. It helps make us feel like we're all in the same room and has eliminated a lot of confusion.
