Overall Satisfaction with Miro

Mostly used by UX designers.

Pros

  • Brainstorming.
  • Research analysis.
  • Real time collaboration.
  • Live updates.
  • Large amounts of content.

Cons

  • No ability to copy and paste - this is a huge pain point.
  • Limited text box sizes.
  • Not great for taking verbatim notes in user interviews.
  • Helped adapt to fully remote work environment.
  • Combined features of multiple other tools into one.
  • Allows for storing and collaborating on a lot of content in a single location.
I wasn’t part of the implementation.
I don’t know about the integration.
It has improved online collaboration.

  • MURAL (formerly Mural.ly)
Good for brainstorming and pain point prioritization. Good for collaborating with groups remotely. Good for quick idea generation and lots of different types of outputs (notes, process flows, schedules, etc) all in one view. Can paste images and files. Not great at searching across notes for user research or doing quantitative analysis of large-scale studies.
