Overall Satisfaction with Miro

Engineering mostly - Roadmapping, envisioning, collaboration, refinement, retrospective.

Pros

  • Easy to use and easy on the eyes!
  • Seamless collaboration with remote teams!

Cons

  • Voting built into sticky notes.
  • Increased collaboration
  • Increased transparency
I think there should be one board for each team. I don't think it's fair that large corporations have to share 3 boards. Things get cluttered quickly and it's hard to be creative when you have to constantly be Cognizant of others in your space. Large organizations should be able to have more boards without it costing too much, or they will turn to the free version.
Integration into the team is seamless. People can easily start using Miro if you are providing the stickies and other materials already in their frame. I would say the facilitator should know how to use it before a meeting, but the ramp-up time is very quick.
We just formed a team in another country and using Miro was a seamless way for us to connect.

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Miro is better than any product out there. They are just a less version of Miro that isn't very pretty.
I use Miro in all of my meetings where collaboration is needed. Now that we are working in a remote world, I'm not sure how you would get by without it. It is user-friendly but if you are facilitating you can easily control design thinking workshops, retros, and refinements with cool features like clicking on the facilitator's face to bring you to the correct screen.
