Overall Satisfaction with Miro

I use Miro for internal and client collaboration, planning, and workshops. We leverage both the pre-formatted templates and the whiteboard functionality to create our own designs and formatting.
  • Pre-formatted templates (Kanban, journey map, etc.)
  • Intuitive user controls
  • Easy to share and invite others to collaborate on a board
  • Teams sharing functionality uses different controls (for pan, zoom, select, etc.) than a normal board
  • When sharing in Teams, users cannot see their names, and their cursors all show up as ‘Miro visitor’ or similar
  • Exporting frames to Excel is not very intuitive and requires some trial and error
  • Improved clarity and alignment on complex decisions
  • Asynchronous collaboration and records of changes made
  • Improved productivity
Wherever possible, user controls in the Teams plug-in should mirror the functionality (zoom, pan, select, etc.) found in the normal instance of Miro. If possible, Teams plug-in should be modified to allow late entrants to a meeting (or those who drop and rejoin due to a bad connection) to immediately see the Miro board being shared.
Miro sign up is simple, and accessing boards is very straightforward.
I’ve been totally remote for the last ~2 years. Miro has been a lifesaver in instances where we needed multiple perspectives in real time.
