Overall Satisfaction with Miro

I use Miro primarily to plan and strategize for any range of things. For articles, I have used miro to plan the structure of arguments and link ideas throughout different sections. This is my favorite use case for Miro as it really allows me to organise thoughts and patterns in a visual and creative, yet structured way. It has helped me avoid getting lost when there is a large body of work to be completed.
  • Create storyboards
  • Organize and link thoughts
  • Assist project planning
  • create collaborative space
  • needs more templates
  • needs more built in shapes and icons
  • allow to export with grid
  • improved team collaboration
  • more efficient brainstorm process
  • cut down unnecessary meeting time
Our team is fairly young and tech-savvy so the implementation was incredibly smooth. The access to preset templates also eased the load on the team while adjusting to new software as we were able to simply fill in the spaces and save time from having to create our own elements.
Miro integrated well into our workflow as the team fully adopted it and was able to produce a presentable standard of work fairly quickly. It was also very easy to collaborate on the platform. The only reason I did not rate this more highly is that there was no real reference point for integration as we began using Miro very early.
Miro was an amazing collaboration tool for us. Our team was very diverse and spread out as a result of the pandemic. Having everyone collaborate in a single space with no difficulty was incredible and highly productive. Team members were able to work on individual pieces while monitoring the development of their teammates' work. Since everything is in one space, it also became easy to draw links between the work of different team members which was an excellent insight.

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

There really is no other product I've used with the capabilities of Miro. It combines the collaborative power of software like Microsoft Teams with the creative capabilities of products like Canva. The closest comparable experience would be a shared presentation, but to liken Miro to this would be an insult to the product. Miro is a thousand times better than the closest comparable product.
Miro is well suited for group collaboration in planning large and complex projects. The large board gives space for each team member to work at the same time and to easily see the work of others. It was particularly useful paired with design thinking tools and techniques. Some of these activities include: brainstorming, storyboarding, and user journey mapping
