Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We usually use them in small groups (3-4) to organize data/plans & ideas or to create mind maps in the early stages of a project for design. Products include app design - grouping research and creating task flows, quick creative exercises - ideation, mood boards, organizing research into a mind map, etc.
  • Space for collaboration - able to suppose 40+ users at a time.
  • Functionality - easy to use and learn.
  • Many tools perfect for creative work - tools intuitive to adobe products.
  • Export types - pulling out work as pdf or jpg.
  • Clean UI/UX.
  • Selecting objects could be a bit better and precise.
  • Can get laggy/slow when there are too many people.
  • Improved work flow.
  • Better process work.
  • Collaboration and deadline are easier to manage.
Daunting at first but once you get the hang of it the implementation is easier and more rewarding in the long run.
Learning curve of new shortcuts and actions e.g. scrolling and panning is not what I am used to on other software.
Collaborations have increased especially during COVID however even out of COVID it is still highly engaging and useful to the team.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Miro again?

No

I find Miro is great in the early stages for planning especially together as a group but works great solo as well. For my work especially under design, it is easy to keep ideas together with mood boarding in one area to see everything as one.
