Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We use it to solve problems as a group (usually 2-3 people) when we are working remotely. It helps us organize our thoughts, explain our ideas and record our progress. It has proven to be so useful, that we use Miro when we meet in person, instead of a physical whiteboard.
  • The Cursor visibility of other people
  • The compatibility with other media like pdfs and images
  • The compatibility for other devices
  • There are cases when the board does start to lag when inserting large pdfs
  • There is no laser pointer, and a line only appears to others when it is done being drawn, so it can be hard to point at a certain item on the board
  • Navigation using a graphics tablet works, but can be a bit tricky
  • Decreased frustration over other whiteboard apps, like microsoft whiteboard
  • increased productivity
  • Makes comprehending others easier
A 'Lazer pointer' would be very useful. Seeing lines drawn by others as they are being drawn would also be useful. Sometimes the application is a little laggy when there is a lot on the board.
It is a little hard to get into, as you have to understand that there are different projects with different users etc.. but it's not too much of a problem.
It is easier to communicate ideas and suggestions and it has made remote collaboration possible.

  • Microsoft 365 (formerly Office 365)
Miro is better than Microsoft whiteboard in its feature set and organization, and it is a lot less laggy.
Well suited for teams of employees working on a shared project and for illustrating your ideas to others in remote.
