Overall Satisfaction with Miro
We use Miro for internal presentations and workshops. It allows us to have interactive sessions, where we can easily add and move points around the board which is useful, as, unlike PowerPoint presentations, we can quickly alter structures and workflows as we discuss them in the meeting. It is particularly useful in marketing for the building and presenting persona research, where we use lots of images and add text/quotes of customer feedback. We avoid using Miro for external presentations because it can look slightly less professional and polished than a traditional PowerPoint
- Visualisation of points
- Adding links / videos
- Speed to add / remove content from a board
- Sometimes the board takes a long time to sync which slows things down
- Sometimes it is hard to work out scale on the board
- For some reason, I am unable to move things around the board on occasion, it kind of locks and prevents me from adding /removing content until it refreshes
- Collaboration on projects has improved
- Projects are more visual and completed in more detail
- Briefing freelancers is more efficient as can give them a visual example of how we would like a graphic to look or an article to be structured
It has been incredible, we work in an international team, and it's so great for collaborating with the markets on zoom. People add stickies during their working hours which we can review during our own, it's also useful to see who is on a board at a given time so we can see who the last editor was, etc.
