Overall Satisfaction with Miro

As we have had to pivot to digital product creation this product has helped to visualize our line in an organized and collaborative way. Users have the ability to share out research and house sketches and colorways for us to assort the line visually before even requesting samples. We use this across all creative and merchandising functions in the company.
  • Resize images with the plug in
  • Allow many users in the same document at once
  • Save previous versions for rescuing lost work
  • Loading images quickly
  • Lagging when a document is full of many assets
  • Create a guide to how to best size/scale projects from the beginning to not run into issues later on with lagging loading
  • We would never be able to survive working remotely without this tool
  • Miro has led us to be less interactive in person which destroys company culture
  • We are able to reduce lead times on production due to increased digitization of creative assets
Mostly concerning performance and usage when large numbers of team members are in the same files. The tool is not really built for teams of over 4-5 using a large document at one time.
We don't really take advantage of any of the integration enhancements. We Zoom through Zoom and then just share a screen to view Miro in a group.
We are able to have teams sit from West Coast to the East coast and still collaborate on product inputs and help make strategic decisions in whatever time zone they find themselves in. This helps us to hire talent across the country and save money on relocating great talent.

Zoom, Adobe Illustrator CC, Microsoft 365 (formerly Office 365)
Miro is very well suited to create environments with lots of collaboration where multiple functions need to quickly access the same information at once. It is a great tool for ideation and research especially when others anticipate using that data to build on throughout a project. I love when functions that would typically use Excel or Powerpoint use Miro instead since it's not always about being creative. It really helps to showcase data in a beautiful way. It's great for presentations too! Miro's only drawback is its ability to handle large files with lots of assets and images. The images are very slow to load and I think my company might have too many people for Miro's optimum working efficiency. When we have large boards with lots of people in them it is really slow and stalls virtually to a halt.
