Overall Satisfaction with Miro

I have recently adopted Miro for a significant proportion of my workload as a product manager. It doesn’t have plenty of things that other mapping software does, allowing you to create visually appealing process diagrams, etc. however it also allows collaborative team working for workshops, spinning up shared ideation boards, running sprint retrospectives, and more. I also love the integration with Jira, allowing me to turn ideas into cards, into tickets on my Jira project. Really well-thought product that solves a myriad of business activities.
  • Process design
  • Integrated third party
  • Collaborative working
  • Support/training
  • Unusual navigation when working from laptop
  • The voting systems still seem a bit buggy (some users won’t get access to the vote)
  • Contra loses software for collaborative working
I wasn’t involved in this
I’ve already used some of them out-of-the-box integrations and they have worked extremely well. As this is a tech review space I can’t give it a 10 as I haven’t seen or attempted any no native integrations- out of the box seems to work brilliantly though
It allows an ease of collaboration but I wouldn’t say it has improved since we’ve begun to use the tool

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

I wasn’t involved in the decision- these are products I’ve tried before
Miro has a wide application usage. It can be used well as a presentation tool, allowing you to keep the meeting collaborative, however, you probably wouldn’t choose to use it for a board presentation above PowerPoint. It also doesn’t allow clean extraction of content built-in Miro (can become pixilated on larger diagrams etc) The tool is excellent for product management activity. I could also see it working really well in school environments (I am an ex-teacher and it answers a lot of problems teachers face)
