Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We use Miro for collaborating. We're a global company with members in 7 different locations (out of 9). Collaborating well online is a must. We use it for Brainstorming, Planning, Architectural designs, Workshops, and Way of Work. We also use it to coordinate between projects, update weekly statuses there, raise dependencies to make sure we're aligned company-wide.
  • Very easy for new users to get started with. Usability is 10.
  • An amazing toolbox that fits every need. So many ways to put your thoughts on the board.
  • Live collaboration with the pointers is really good when workshopping. Which you can turn off when you share screen and present.
  • Timer functionality is underrated I think. It works really well when you need to timebox exercises.
  • Sometimes hard to find previous boards you've created. A better search option would be nice.
  • Auto tag posts with user name or avatar. A feature that can be toggled on and off. Many times you want to be able to see who created what, which we do with different colors sometimes. But it would be so much easier if you had the possibility to turn on a feature that automatically tags all the post-its you create.
  • Be able to save a presentation view that can be shared with non-users. Just like you can send a PowerPoint or spreadsheet by mail or other means to a huge crowd. So that people that don't have accounts can view the presentation without interacting with it.
  • Effective decision making
  • Increased social interaction. Working together on the board while chatting in a Zoom or Teams meeting also makes the team happier.
Didn't partake in the implementation
I assume it's good. Don't know to be honest.
Helped us a lot as we're distributed in probably 20 sites. Having a workshop around a physical whiteboard is not going to be a possibility for us even after COVID. But even if we would end up meeting face to face, we'd still use Miro instead of a physical whiteboard. Which we were doing in my previous company as I started using Miro even before the pandemic.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

It's well suited for so many things. We've even used it for presentations (rather than using PowerPoint or Keynote). But when it comes to sharing content by email or other things, it's really not as each recipient has to create an account to log in and view the board.
