Overall Satisfaction with Miro

Miro has been an integral part of how we collaborate at the company I work for. We use it for organizing workshops and team alignment meetings. When there is a need to involve many different disciplines in the meeting, Miro is always a safe choice as the tool to use because everyone is very familiar with how it works. I love the templates it provides and I have used them many times.
  • Great tool for workshops
  • Very good onboarding experience and guidance on how to use
  • More advanced search filters when searching for boards at the homescreen
  • Improved productivity
It is really hard to search for boards at the Home screen at the moment due to having poor filters. Also, I would love to have a choice to see only the projects that I am interested in and not everything else as the left-hand side menu can get very chaotic in big organizations. But overall, I love the design and implementation so far
This is a feature that is probably not very well communicated in Miro. I didn't know that there is the capability for integrations with other apps. I have seen at the right-hand side menu that there is a list of apps but never knew that I can actually request to make more integrations
Miro has helped massively my org to collaborate on new projects, especially during this COVID period where everyone works remotely. It is very helpful for organizing kick-off sessions of new projects where there is a need to involve many people to understand the context and goal of the project and the next steps. For those sessions, we always use Miro as a tool to document our team's thoughts.

  • MURAL (formerly Mural.ly)
I haven't used Mural for a long time as I have been using Miro for the past 2 years. Miro seems more powerful than Mural, it has got more features and offers many more capabilities. I especially like the very extended library of templates it offers to compare it with Mural
Miro is more well suited for workshops and team alignment meetings where many disciplines need to be involved. It is very easy to use and even new starters can get an understanding of how it works very quickly. Even though Miro is pretty easy to use for wireframing, it is less well suited for detailed design.
