Overall Satisfaction with Miro

In my
company, we use Miro for our weekly meetings as well for group projects of any
people size.
The management has created a Miro board for each employee with their specific
goals for the current year. I also use Miro for my own to sort my thoughts through
the mind map function.
Moreover, Miro helps me to study for Microsoft certifications.
  • mind maps
  • collaboration
  • uploading pictures / PDFs
  • Miro is sometimes slow -> it takes sometimes some minutes until all elements are loaded in a board
  • you cannot search for text within an uploaded picture or PDF
  • mind map function is nice, but there is still room for improvements
  • positive: collaboration is easy and fun
  • positive: anyone can use it within minutes
  • positive: most features are working fine
  • negative: sometimes pictures on a Miro board need several minutes until you can see them
Most features in Miro are working quite fine. There is still room for improvements in regard to mind maps. Collaboration
with people within or outside of your own organization is working perfectly. What is not working well is searching for
text within an element e.g., a picture or PDF file. Sometimes pictures on a board take several minutes until they are loaded.
good suited:
+ daily/weekly meetings for planning tasks
+ business meetings with clients
+ group projects of any people size
+ mind maps
+ working with pictures
+ collaboration with teams outside of your own organization
+ studying for Microsoft certifications
less suited:
- search for text within an element e.g., a picture or PDF-file
- working with big pictures
Miro makes it easy to work together with people
within or outside of your own organization. In
my company, we use Miro for our weekly meetings as well for group projects of
any people size. Moreover, we create mind maps in Miro to sort our thoughts. On top of that, we use Miro to study for
Microsoft certifications.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

I prefer
using Miro instead of MindManager to create mind maps because Miro is much simpler
to use, and you do not need to install any program besides a browser.
Moreover, Miro is more flexible and makes it more fun to use than MindManager.
However, in MindManager, you can search for text within a PDF.
