Overall Satisfaction with Miro
The templates available on Miro are extremely useful, as is the network of community users who evolve the template for their usage and share it back with the community. It's extraordinarily easy to find something that will be of good use in any environment, be these simple brainstorming exercises, requirement elicitation/user story creation, sprint planning, Programme Increment planning, retros, customer journey mapping, and so on... It's a blank slate, but provides an excellent virtual war room for team collaboration, especially in the current environment of remote working of large distributed teams.
Pros
- Templates
- Virtual war room
- Team collaboration
Cons
- Ability to export some boards rather than all, though I suspect its free v. paid versions
- Ability to change object type. For e.g. if I start on a user storyboard and want to change to another board type it isn't always easy. And I cant add tags on certain objects such as shapes with text
- Improved productivity
- Enhanced the credibility of our consultants
- Facilitated trust with our clients
- Improved collaboration and ways of working across virtual distributed teams
Already addressed... We use it extensively at our client organizations even though it's blocked in some public sector orgs in the UK...
