Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We use Miro as a shared platform to collaborate on the research phase of the architecture design process in a studio setting. This includes presentation material, research flows, and visual planning.

Pros

  • Presentations
  • Visual Research Flows.
  • Collaborative work.

Cons

  • Increase in media formats able for upload - including GIF animations and TIFs.
  • Easier media transferability between teams and accounts.
  • More pre-made templates.
  • Increased ease in remote collaboration.
  • Increased presentation appeal.
Once you learn how to implement tags easily, the Miro platform is very intuitive and a seamless transition.
Miro is very easy to learn and use! I had no problem learning the interface, but there are also so many fun intricacies to continually learn and use.
As a student, I use Miro almost daily for my architecture Studio processes. It has allowed our team to work visually remotely very easily.

We frequently use Concept Board for collaborative products as well, but I find the interface limiting visually and a lot more cumbersome to work with.
Miro is a great collaborative visual platform for the beginning design stages. It is very user-friendly and a great visual alternative to traditional PowerPoint. I am impressed with the easy archival process and linkage to Excel. With a variety of pre-made flowcharts and templates, early-stage research just got a lot easier!
