Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We use Miro for brainstorming new ideas and services as well as conducting workshops with external stakeholders. The workshops are project-related and templates are created to capture adequate responses. It is a great tool for collaborative working, capturing ideas, and reflecting on brainstorming sessions to convert them into formal presentations. It allows us to think, note, and discuss effectively virtually. Our use case for Miro is primarily for the above purposes.

  • Miro can have quick instructions or starter tabs for first-time users. This would help build capacity for first-time users during workshops.

I think the user interface is fairly simple and user-friendly. It is easy to navigate through the platform and work on the boards and frames. There might be a possibility to add more functionalities like viewing the frames as presentations or tracking additions to the board over time and user.
It is an extremely easy platform to use. Colleagues of all ages appreciate using it for meetings and consider it a valuable addition. Further, most colleagues are able to navigate through the platform and contribute independently to the boards. However, the process of licensing and adding members can be cumbersome.
I started using Miro for the Aviation department for conducting workshops. However, it is slowly making headway in other tasks and projects as it allows more freedom than Powerpoint for creative thinking. As an organization, we are still discovering its complete potential but it has definitely helped us work better.

We have used Miro effectively to record ideas during brainstorming sessions with large groups (in the range of 5 -50 people). It was very effective to capture everyone's ideas in a short period of time and then analyze them later. Further, we have also used Miro to build evolving value proposition presentations through collaborative working. We find it well suited for these functionalities.
