Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We have been using Miro to run retros given that the team is not collocated. We have used a few different 'games' for which I usually would create a board template that we would then copy
  • you can work on the same object at the same time
  • you can see where other participants are and so you can help them find you by telling them where they are relative to you
  • You can open it on your phone via an app or via browser. I prefer the app
  • The web experience is worth the app IMO -- scrolling vs zooming seems to get me a lot of times
  • I wish there was an easier way to put a 'dot' on the post-it for voting. We get around it by putting different figures but in somehow first few games it always slows people down to figure it out.
  • Wish there was a stopwatch ticking away in front of all within the space. At least in the free version, there is not any
  • Improve communication
  • easier way to discover what we can improve
  • team building tool
it's not hard to register and start using the product. I like the app more than I like the web browser version which for me has been more difficult in terms of scrolling/ zooming.
We have not integrated it since we've been using it gorilla style rather than sponsored/ supported group-wise.
We use it for retros exactly in this kind of scenario i.e. while we are not collocated. It helped a lot to have a visual tool in which we can collaborate.
