Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We use Miro to collaborate with cross-functional teams located all over the US and UK to share designs, view key customer feedback, see PO/TO Lifecycle processes, GTM strategy and more. Miro has especially been an awesome tool for us when mind-mapping new ideas.

Pros

  • Mind-mapping template
  • Search feature
  • Organizing/sorting boards

Cons

  • The overall navigation is a bit unintuitive. The bigger emphasis encouraging inviting members, upgrading, etc in areas where I'd expect to explore the product is annoying.
  • There doesn't seem to be a way to group boards or customize their organization
  • The card vs table view of the boards shows inconsistent information (ie owner)
  • Documenting ideal work processes in a consumable and easy-to-reference way has helped lessen the amount of guessing and individual DMing for answers to process questions.

Gopuff has remote workers all over the world, and Miro has helped bring teams together by allowing one space to collaborate and document ideas, processes, and work.

Yes

Miro is well-suited for quick collaboration but the Kanban framework is less useful compared to other work tracking products out there. The flowchart is also a bit heavy on the visual (shapes, colors) which make okay for documenting very simple workflows, but rather difficult to use for more complex ones as it requires a lot of zooming out and clicking around to add things.
