Overall Satisfaction with Miro

Miro was brought in to support collaboration within teams but has become rarely/never used since the learning curve turns people off. Most people just end up using the same collaboration tools we have been using for years.

Pros

  • SSO

Cons

  • Learning curve as compared to tools people are already familiar with.
  • How to share boards with your team.
  • Explain how the product actually works.
  • Purchase of another tool that will not get much use.
I was not a part of the integration team for this product.
Since this is not approved for all sensitive data types, it has not done much to help teams collaborate.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

No

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

No

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

No

Collaborative whiteboards are not as useful as management thought they would be. Also, it is non-intuitive how to share boards with the correct people in your team. Overall, people have just continued to use the same old collaboration tools that we have always used. Miro is also not approved for any sensitive company data/projects, so teams are also staying within the same approved platforms to avoid sprawling across several applications for data sharing.
