Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We use Miro for virtual workshops and meetings so that people can work creatively together and contribute without having to be physically present. Especially during the covid lockdown and related restrictions for travel, this has been very useful. Based on that experience now this also supporting the reduction of face to face meetings to save on travel funds as well as reduce carbon footprint of the institution .
  • Flexible platform for bringing remote teams together
  • Easy to use and learn
  • No installation required
  • Copying and dragging entire layers by mistake is still too easy
  • Grouping while resizing a postit and moving entire group by mistake
  • No undo after leaving and returning to board possible
  • Allowed to work together under lockdown conditions
  • Saved travel money
  • Reduced carbon footprint
Well, working product as it is now. Easy to share, easy to access, easy to give access, and easy to learn. Needs some small improvements in terms of functionality, the safety of already produced work, and ease of use as well as a backup system. Can't really complain as use is free at the current user level.
It's easy to use and gives access to it to a large number of people for work. Integrating into project meetings, group activities, workshops, etc is thus very easy and useful. Great potential to reduce the number of in-person meetings without losing the ability to create together and share the results easily.
Definitely, initially during the 2020 and 2021 covid related lockdowns, travel restrictions, and new ways of remote working Miro has been extremely useful to continue working efficiently together as a research and development institution with many meetings and projects across continents and a large number of partners globally. This is continued now under more monetary and environmental aspects to reduce unnecessary travel.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Only used this once and a while back. I seem to recall it has similar features and seemed to work well at that time. Since then several institutions I've had virtual meetings with have all used Miro. I wasn't aware of most alternative products, especially the Microsoft whiteboard given that we exclusively use Microsoft products as a basic platform.
Very well suited for remote collaboration. Quick, good functions, and easy to use. It gets a bit chaotic sometimes with a larger amount of people working on the same board. It would be good to be able to save certain states and have the possibility of doing backups in several steps if something goes wrong.
