Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We use Miro to collect, organize, analyze, and share research insights and design brainstorming. It is great for group whiteboarding, taking live notes during focus groups, and having a single location for project assets to be visually communicated.

Pros

  • Arrows, boxes, lines and other vector art.
  • importing photos.
  • digitizing sticky/post-it notes.
  • layouts and templates.

Cons

  • Too many options on the main toolbar.
  • Text should be a menu item on the main toolbar.
  • Improved collaboration in a virtual environment.
  • More eco-friendly alternative to using post-its for UX exploration.
N/A (did not integrate).
Miro + the comment feature on Miro has been a great way to share a board with people in other locations and allow them to leave feedback on their own time.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Miro is like MURAL but with way more integrations, and it just generally has expanded functionality beyond what MURAL can offer.
Miro is great for having many people at once together virtually and being able to contribute notes and ideas. Miro isn't as powerful when used as a substitution for something like OneNote because the text formatting options are limited.
