Overall Satisfaction with Miro
We use Miro to create moments of sharing with the customer and also as an alternative method to PowerPoint or Keynote presentations. The product allows us to work with many people without the problems encountered with PowerPoint or Keynote. We use Miro in the field of digital product design. It's a problem solving tool too.
Pros
- great to create high-impact designs with minimal effort
- great tool to manage an online workshop
- great for presentation too
Cons
- dot voting
- it has a lot of functionalities, some of them are too hidden
- the app is useless and quite annoying
- Wow effect on customers
- Reduction in hours worked on a project
- Speed of execution and rework
It facilitated the job I used to do on PowerPoint: it's a valuable alternative to PP because it's much more usable in a small or even larger group (4-5 people). I tried the AI tool recently, and it's OK, it certainly needs improvement. I use mostly the post-it features for a lot of content and it's still the best feature.
It did: I convinced my partners in several projects to use Miro not only as a platform in which we can put "raw" content (texts, link...), to think and assess our strategy, and to show presentation to the client. Everything is in the same place, teams can rely on that and it reduces the confusion potentially typical in design projects.
During the pandemic it has been a lifesaving tool. It allowed us to keep on working as if nothing was happening in the world. We have several teams dislocated in Italy and, for us, even before the pandemic, Miro has always been the tool that helped us to focus on our creativity without putting effort on how to deliver that creativity.
