Overall Satisfaction with Miro

Miro is primarily used as a collaboration tool within our agile pods. The tool is used for everything from brainstorming to prioritization, and occasionally as a tool for creating presentations.

Pros

  • Collaboration
  • Brainstorming
  • Visualization

Cons

  • Presentations
  • Alignment / Formatting
  • Exporting to PDF, PPT, etc.
  • N/A - Miro has been useful in brainstorming situations, but the gap between Miro and Microsoft shared files (i.e. in Powerpoint) is narrowing.
N/A - i was not involved in integration
As stated previously, Miro has been useful as a collaboration tool for employees across several sites / geographies. However, the gap between Miro's functionality and that of the Microsoft office suite seems to be narrowing as Microsoft's shared file services improve.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Miro is very useful in brainstorming sessions, once users learn how to navigate and use the software. Grouping of sticky notes based on tags can be a particularly useful feature. Miro is less useful in terms of creating presentations, as there is a significant learning curve for folks to understand how to use frames, align objects, and create presentation materials in Miro.
