Overall Satisfaction with Miro

I use Miro to help organise the projects that I work on. We use it to check work progress on the items in a project, and allow easier communication between artists, art leads, and the production team. We also use it for weekly meetings as well as retrospective meetings.
Miroboard makes it more fun for us to collaborate in discussions due to it's easy-to-use interface, fun stickers, and UI that is easy on the eye.

Pros

  • Easy-to-use Interface
  • A canvas with no limits, so that you can create as many sections as you like
  • Easy to share, makes it easier for collaboration
  • Good search bar function - makes it easy for me to look for projects across different teams
  • Customizable to the way you want it to look and work

Cons

  • Lagging issues, especially when the board is big
  • Slower loading time when there are many images
  • Sometimes the email notifications doesn't go through
  • Projects are completed smoothly with lesser issues
  • Easier overall communication
  • Increased productivity
I don't use Miro when it's integrated with other products.
It's much easier to collaborate on different time zones and locations because everything is in one spot. We can leave comments and notes for people in other areas, and they will be able to respond on the specific items when they are available. Having this online platform also means that it's easier for people to update and keep track of their progress, even though people are in different locations.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Miro is good to help keep track on the work progress for items in a project. The intuitively collaborative-style also makes it easier for artists, art leads, and the production team to communicate to each other, even when we work remotely. It's great to use for meetings, discussions, brainstorming sessions, or even host ice breaking games on. Miro is less suitable for one-on-one live discussions, and doesn't have call functions through the program.
