Overall Satisfaction with Miro

Miro is a fantastic tool for several situations, from brainstorming, product vision, product roadmap definition and even day-by-day activities. In those days of remote working and virtual meetings sharing a board in which everyone can collaborate in real-time with all the team live, or offline.

Something that could be improved is the export of the tables: the CSV format is really raw and not so useful, an export in a word format or a pdf format in which we can select the text for copy and paste and so on in some case could be helpful.

By the way, the real power of Miro is the use online and for live collaboration and on that side it's the top!

Pros

  • Agile templates for estimation, planning, product vision, story map
  • Native Integration with several videoconferencing app
  • Integration with Jira

Cons

  • Objects export format
  • Sharing information, it should be easy to understand at glance who has access the board
  • A preview of the board easily accessible by the list, when you have a lot, it could help
  • Improve communication, collaboration and sharing
  • The virtual board allows to discuss complex scenarios remotely as effectively as in person
it's really easy to integrate with Microsoft Teams
We are using a massive smart working model with people working from several countries, without tools like Miro it will be almost impossible to collaborate effectively by remote

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

I currently use Lucidchart for diagramming and for that scope works really well, Miro works far better in brainstorming or ideas sharing scenarios
The agile templates are really useful and work really well, they are really straightforward. There are several brainstorming templates with clear explanations on how to use them (icebreaking, strategies and so on).

For charting and diagram there are better tools in my opinion
