Overall Satisfaction with Miro

In general we are using MIRO for planning PI in SAFE framework, additionally its sometimes used for braimstorming, retrospective or just as a whiteboard.

Pros

  • Simplicity (without big introduction you can use it)
  • User friendly - its easy to operate in Miro and to find things that you need
  • Connection with Jira

Cons

  • Linking shapes (we are using now arrows, but it would be great to had hyperlinks to objects on same board)
  • Problems with performance (only sometimes)
  • Improved productivity during pI planning
I was not actievely integrating Miro with other tools, but I am working with Miro when integrated with Jira, and I can say that it works great. All info about tasks/statuses is pulled on time and I do not notice any issue till now.
Without Miro we want be able to organize our work in a precise way. Before every project starts we are collecting their ideas, finding pros and cons of solutions and finally we are tracking their how things are going in one place, even when 20 teams are working in project.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Miro is a great tool to for collaborating during brain storming, events planning, diagrams creation. With boards that does not contain many elements its ok to work parallel with ~100 people. It can be problematic when you have awful lot of elements on you board and many active users are working there.
