Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We use Miro for lots of different purposes. For example hosting agile events (a.o. retrospectives); organizing brainstorms for creating and refining features; creative process engineering (flowcharts) in which you can add different kinds of cards, notes, voice-overs and cross-relations using the arrow function. Also, sharing a Miro board (including a password) is very easy with all kinds of stakeholders.

Pros

  • Great way of collaborating with large groups in one place!
  • The cards function is amazing! Adding all kinds of extra context to the card is very helpful.
  • It has a great number of different content types. Images, links, content, process functionality…really the complete package!

Cons

  • You have to set a password if you want to share a board with non-MIRO members.
  • The use of arrows could be more intuitive
  • The way in which you unlock elements is sometimes difficult to use on specific sections.
  • Faster product design
  • Improved productivity do to setting a more coherent team
  • Faster sharing of insights through the company
Miro helped us enormously with working together despite of the long during situation of remote working due to the corona lockdowns. After that period, people were so used to working together online, Miro stayed a vital platform of co-creation & co-working amongst team members, both at the company as remote. Great product we can’t miss at this point!

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Well suited for co-creation, brainstorming and hosting agile events. The number of post-it’s, cards, text options, visual contents and extra comments is amazing. Less suited for setting up due-hard technical process flows. Therefore it lacks some fluent arrow-use, design of dependencies etc. But overall a great program to used especially in a company with lots of people.
