Overall Satisfaction with Miro
We use Miro for brainstorming, high-level project planning, and running fun retrospectives. It works well with the collaboration aspect, having everyone work together at the same time. There are many pre-made templates available on Miro for the different usage styles, and that makes it quite easy to get started on a new session or when looking for ideas.
Pros
- Collaboration between many team members
- Allowing for voting on next talking points
- Linking items together and displaying the connectors
Cons
- Premium features include a simple timer that should be part of standard offering
- Incorrect managing of teams could lead to accidentally large bills
- Tracking of changes by users could have more detail
- Templates have introduced fun retrospectives
- The sign-up process has prevented some people for following through
- View past iterations on the same board reduced time spent collating from different data sources
As mentioned before, it has created a way for our remote teams to collaboarate together. We often share the board on a Teams call to track previous actions points and we also have plans to start tracking small wins. This will help improve team cohesion and makes it easier to quickly whip up a screen and start collaborating during during a meeting.
