Miro at use for non-profit/religious institution.
Overall Satisfaction with Miro
I use Miro when I conduct trainings and team building sessions. I use Miro to engage our staff to be fellow active participants in the activities and discussions. This helps to bring a new level of interactions, even in our staff meetings. The passive posture of receiving during such settings have shifted once we introduce even a simple activity to put a comment in a sticky note and move it to the appropriate canvas. I see excitement, engagement and more ownership through the use of Miro.
Pros
- Allows large groups to participate
- Real Time amendments bring excitement when others observe
- The variety of tasks it can allow users to participate
- Very customisable
Cons
- Using on mobile phone screens can sometimes be hard as it is smaller and delicate than on a desktop
- Increased engagements during meetings
- Increased excitement during meetings
- Training methodology has expanded
- More valuable and timely information and feedback
It has allowed us to use a variety of canvas and layouts to convey and consolidate different inputs, ideas and also across different time settings. To know that there is a centralised place where all input is at gives a sense of rest as we don't feel like we have the burden to memorise everything.
