Overall Satisfaction with Miro

I use Miro pretty much on a daily basis for product discovery, ideation workshops, planning workshops, roadmapping, journey mapping and user testing. I find it an incredibly quick and easy way to organise things and collate my thoughts. I perceive Miro as industry standard and would always choose it over alternatives given the choice.
  • Discovery
  • Workshops
  • Planning
  • N/A, I'm happy with the features I use Miro for.
  • It improves my productivity but I haven't quantified this. I've tried to use tools like MURAL and find these slow me down. Miro works quickly which helps me work quickly!
I've used the Miro integration with ClickUp and it wasn't amazing, although I'm not sure the tools really need integrating in the first place...
We do a lot of planning sessions across different regions remotely. I've worked with people in India, US (east and west coast) and China.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Miro is much much better than MURAL! MURAL is slower, has a worse UI and less rich feature set. Miro is a much more pleasant user experience.
1: decision making workshops Miro is great for, as I can facilitate people to individually note down thoughts/ideas separately then start bringing them together during a discussion.
2: collating information for discovery, I use Miro to map out opportunity solution trees, value prop canvases, business model canvases, note down questions from user interviews, synthesise feedback etc.
3: I like how fluid my roadmap is in Miro. Sometimes it feels too fluid (ie too easy to make a change), but i do not like to fixate on roadmaps too much since they have a tendency to provide a false sense of security. Despite that my stakeholders like to see roadmaps. In Miro I can create and edit roadmaps in seconds, rather than having to spend countless hours in clunky tools like Excel or other Agile softwares.
