Overall Satisfaction with Miro

Miro is a great tool for virtual workshops and collaborating with multiple colleagues in the same space at the same time. It also is a more engaging experience to deliver information in comparison to a slide pack as its non linear experience. It also solves the problem of updating information with its very intuitive UI.

Pros

  • Collaboration sessions such as virtual workshops
  • Creating complex flow diagrams
  • Informing users of updates on shared spaces

Cons

  • Flexibility around exporting to slide formats
  • Better folder structure and sorting to store/label Miros
  • Costs of travel and hosting for workshop attendance from all around the country
  • Productivity increase in terms of speed at which a workshop can be organsied
  • Quality of outcome improvement as everyone is equal in a virtual setting
Hugely beneficial in terms of collaboration, especially for remote teams.

Yes

- It works really when collaborating with multiple people in, for example, a virtual workshop environment as indivduals can vote or add post its of their indivdual input
- It works really well when documenting large or complex workflows or diagrams as its non linear approach allows expansion in any direction at any point of your creation
- Its not so suited to displaying tabular data or creating graphical data related diagrams
