Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We use MIRO 1) As the primary collaboration tool for Facilitating Virtual Workshops, 2) For collaborative design, 3) For representing and sharing ideas 4) As the final document.

Pros

  • AI feature for grouping stuff.
  • Rich content, including templates for everything.
  • Tools for doing Time management and controlling what gets displayed during workshops.
  • Tools for managing access.
  • Tools from bringing people to me.
  • Timer for time management.

Cons

  • Better controls for background music when the timer is active.
  • Some automatic zoom and centralization features (sometimes, it's hard to find the frames in a new board during first access).
  • Easy access to revision history information on who made what change and when?
  • More collaboration between people and teams.
  • Reduced time to get things done when collaborating with many people.
  • Faster information exchange with less effort in preparing the information.
Sometimes it takes longer for the board to come up (1-2 min).
Easy to drag and drop things (pictures, icons, etc.) in and out of the Board. Some integration with Jira...
I guess the biggest impact was it became the de-facto whiteboard tool for collaboration during meetings.
