Overall Satisfaction with Miro

I use it for collaboration on projects. Miro makes it easy to share images and redline markups. The huge white space makes it easy to see the big picture and have everything together in one place. My team works all over the world, so the cloud service makes accessibility very easy.

Pros

  • images scale really well
  • easy to move around within the white space with fast zoom makes it easy to find things
  • intuitive controls. no training necessary

Cons

  • project organization is strange. i see everything for my whole Company. seems like it should be more granular than that.
  • Sharing with guests is tricky. i need to invite people outside of my company sometimes. we figure it out, but I always mess it up.
  • it helped me collaborate with a global team more efficiently and with more accuracy.
I don't know about my organization. I see that a lot of people us it.

it has helped my team immensely. I collaborate with engineers in the US, China, and Europe. The central workspace of this whiteboard really makes my job possible. Without it, I would be either passing files around on email, or trying to use Google documents for real time collaboration. Marking up drawings doesn't work well in word processors or presentation software.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Lucidchart is good for collaboration in a graphical space. But it is a little harder to share with others and the tools are less intuitive. Miro loads really fast and the zoom features make navigating the large space more manageable.
I have been using it for projects involved with migrating industrial control systems which have 30-40 graphics pages. I can put all of them on one Miro board for reference and discussion. when the updated graphics were sent to us from the supplier, we could also redline them in this space.

It is well suit for projects and things that have a set timeline. It isn't so good for long term storage.
